Spring...

Well, it is beautiful outside. We are so blessed to live in a place where the spring comes early, and is so enjoyable. With the sunshine, and the blooming flowers, and the longer days...we have been doing a lot outside, as a family. These are a few pictures from a few of our recent family days.

Easter Bunny!

The "Easter Bunny" came to our neighborhood rec center, and we took Brooke to visit. She had no problem sitting on this "strange person's" lap, but getting a smile was another story.

Brooke loves to clap. She claps all the time, for any reason, or no reason at all. It is precious.

9 Month Check-Up

Brooke had her 9 month check up on March 24th. She weighs 18 lbs. 12 oz., and is 27 in. tall! The doctor said she is growing perfectly, and was very impressed by her crawling, pulling up, and standing abilities. She was also amazed at Brooke's muscles, and assumed she must be getting lots of exercise!

She is certainly keeping Mommy and Daddy busy. We are looking forward to celebrating Brooke's 1st Easter. We wish you all a blessed Holy Week and Easter.

SPRING BREAK!

Brooke and Mommy have really enjoyed spring break! The weather has been wonderful, and we really took advantage! We visited Carter and Aunt Hilliary on Monday, sported a St. Patrick's Day tutu & bow on Wednesday, and went to Chuck-E-Cheese with Holly, Skylar, Cadence and Luke Dornak on Thursday. We also attempted to wade in our little pool in the back yard, but Brooke DID not like it one bit! We will try again this summer.

As always, every moment with Brooke is a joy and a blessing. God has blessed our lives SO much, through Brooke, and He is taking care of us, and providing for us each day. May God bless each and every one of you this Lenten season...as we prepare to rejoice in the resurrection! XOXOXO

Boy are we happy that spring has sprung! We have enjoyed the nice days, going outside as much as possible! Brooke loves to swing, and take walks in her "big girl stroller." Here are just a few pics from the last few weeks...

Wedding Weekend

We enjoyed attending Johnny and Natalie's wedding, in Georgetown, the last weekend of February. These pictures are from the happy occasion.

Brooke is growing and changing so much these days. She is absolutely amazing!

She has 5 teeth (3 on top, and 2 on bottom), she speed crawls, but much prefers standing. She pulls up on everything and lets go. She can now balance for up to 5 seconds at a time. We sense that walking is on the horizon, and are taking the necessary baby-proofing steps. We hear a lot of "Da-da-da-da-da" these days, which melts Daddy's heart...our little angel is quite the singer, too! She claps, and dances, and has the most day-brightening smiles. Every moment is such a blessing...we couldn't be any happier.
