Speaking of Baby, he/she is doing great. The doc says the pregnancy is "perfectly normal"--which is GREAT NEWS in the pregnancy world. The baby has started noticeable movement, which is SO wonderful! I cannot wait to share it with Brooke and Brad as the baby gets bigger. Brad, Brooke and I WILL find out the baby's gender on Sept. 6th. We are very excited. Whether we will SHARE the news still remains to be decided...
Brooke is busy busy busy. She is quite a chatterbox, and repeats EVERYTHING. She is mostly a good girl, with an occasional "terrible 2" fit! We have made the most of our final days of summer, visiting indoor play places, doing projects at home, playing in the water, and getting out some "big girl toys" I had put away awhile back. The big news is that Brooke's big girl room is all ready to go, for when she moves in, this fall. GeeMa and I got everything painted and put together a few weeks back. Brooke is THRILLED with the results, and loves to play in her new space! For the time being, she is very territorial about the nursery, which is still technically her room, and will not let me move her clothes out of the drawers or closet. Our plan is to move her in October.
Brad is seriously busy at work, as well as home. We have been marking things off of our "honey do" list, each weekend. Amazing how the list never seems to get any shorter.
I start school on Monday, and will be teaching every Mon/Wed, this semester. I have two full classes of 25...which means I will be busy when paper time rolls around. Brooke will have a new baby sitter this fall...our old one graduated and left for college. We REALLY like the "new girl" and think she is going to be a great fit for us. God heard our prayers when he brought her to us.
I will post pictures of the new room soon. In the meantime, keep us in your prayers, as big changes are on the horizon.
Hugs and Love!
