Our family trip to Port Aransas

We took a short but sweet mini vacation to Port Aransas, last weekend. This was the 1st time that Brooke actually got to enjoy the beach...and enjoy it she did! She had so much fun playing in the water and in the sand. She was not afraid of the waves, at all! She played so hard, and completely wore herself (and Mommy and Daddy) out! We also enjoyed dining out, exploring the island, souvenir shopping, and seeing Uncle Walt, Aunt Meg, Marci, JoAnn and Mark!

Sadly, it was over too soon. We look forward to many more years of making memories with our darling girl. Enjoy the pictures...

3 years of bliss...and counting.

On July 7th, we celebrated our 3rd anniversary. I really cannot believe it. It still feels like we "just got married." I guess, compared to some people, we are still newly weds. Anyway, we've come a LONG way, and I can honestly say, our life is better than ever. Brooke has given our lives a new purpose, and parenting together has strengthened our marriage in so many ways. I love watching my husband be a Daddy, and he tells me all the time, that being a mommy, has made me more attractive, to him, than ever before.

We celebrated by going back to the scene of our very 1st date...which was waaaay back in 2003. It was a Wednesday, and it was raining--no big shebang, just a nice dinner out. Here are a few pics.

Pictures from the Pretty Pink Princess Party!!

These are pictures from Brooke's "Pretty Pink Princess Party" on June 26th. It was the perfect day! God blessed us with beautiful sunshine, plenty to eat and drink, and LOTS of friends and family members to share in the fun! It will always be a beautiful memory. I cannot believe we have been the proud parents of our angel for a whole year already! We have learned so much, and made so many special memories. Life has changed in every way--for the better! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate...we love you all!
